So, I only missed six categories. I'm pretty happy with that. This may be my best year ever.
Sean Penn's win for Best Actor surprised me since Mickey Rourke won every other major award this year, but it was still a good choice. Sean Penn is amazing!!
The only other big shocker for me was Best Foreign Film. I thought that Waltz with Bashir had it wrapped up, but Departures snuck in and stole that award.
Hugh Jackman was a pretty decent host. I thought his accent was super funny, but all in all, he was pretty good. He's a great singer and I hope to see him in a show someday.
Not enough comedy for me, though. Celebrities make too much money for the host to not make fun of them constantly throughout the entirety of the show.
I'll just have to wait until next year for someone to mock them.
